Alpha Video’s Sports & Entertainment Group Completes Sprint Center Arena in Kansas City, MO
Newly built arena receives $1.2 million digital replay control room

Minneapolis, MN, December 17, 2007– Alpha Video’s Sports & Entertainment Group, the leading national integrator and specialist for the sports and entertainment industry, is pleased to announce that it has completed the digital replay control room for the Sprint Center Arena in Kansas City, MO.

The arena, which is the home of the AFL Kansas City Brigade, the Big XII Basketball Tournament, and a host of additional events, was opened in October of this year with an Elton John concert.  The multi-purpose venue has also already hosted nine consecutive Garth Brooks concerts, with college basketball and football coming up soon. 

Construction on the state-of-the-art control room, which was designed by Dallas-based consulting firm WJHW, began in July and was completed in September.  Manufacturers in the installation included: Ikegami, Ross Video, Pro-Bel, and Avid.
